picor
How It Works.
- This 3d holographic experience requires a printed marker to make it work. If you are holding a brochure or business card from Picor, there may be one printed on the back. If you don't have a marker, print one now. >
- Turn on your computer's webcam and turn off any pop-up blockers.
- Click on the button labeled "Launch Picor Hologram". A screen should open at the top of this page.
- You are likely to see a dialog box labeled "Adobe Flash Player Settings". Press "Allow" to engage your webcam.
- Hold your printed marker so that it faces your computer's webcam and wait for the hologram to appear.
- Slowly turn your marker as this sample of Picor technology comes to life in your hands.
Tips and Tricks.
- This 3d holographic experience can only work if you have your computer's webcam turned on. (some older computers may not have a webcam -- so borrow a friend's computer)
- Using a Mac? You may need to adjust your "flash player settings". Simply right click on the screen area, select the webcam icon, and choose "USB video" from the drop down. You'll know the settings are correct when you can see yourself on the web page.
- Be sure to hold your printed marker so that it faces the webcam directly and the whole marker is showing on the screen.
- Close any other application that may be using your webcam.
- Make sure that you are viewing this page in a well lit area so the camera can "read" your printed marker. Try to avoid sharp, direct light as it may create a glare on your marker and make it difficult to "read".
