PICOR is a turnkey contracting firm that specializes in difficult design projects. Most of its business is in the bulk material handling industry, but the company's expertise also extends to other difficult industrial projects. This experience is wide and includes:

Belt Conveying Systems Industrial Mechanical Systems
Bulk Material Precision Weighing Bulk Material Flow Control Equipment
Bulk Material Volumetric Loading

PICOR has a cumulative engineering experience of many years that uniquely suits it to tackling the most difficult projects. Projects without ready-made solutions that require original design are the company’s forte.
Solving the engineering problems of industry is an art that requires the implementation of technology. Low capital costs and operational costs are the fruits of artful design. PICOR utilizes its years of industry-specific knowledge to analyze the customer’s needs. From this analysis the best-value system is generated.
The following are historical examples of how this approach has worked:

A depleted uranium machining facility requested proposals to design, supply and install a uranium dust agglomeration and disposal system with extremely tight environmental specifications. PICOR's principles attended the pre-bid conference along with several large A&E firms. A proposal was subsequently prepared and submitted. Which was more than fifty percent below the next lowest proposal and was the only responsive proposal. No other firm was able to comply with the specifications. The facility was designed, fabricated and installed. It worked as advertised, was accepted and placed in service. The customer's dust disposal cost was cut by more than half.

A large manufacturer of rayon staple, due to a change in raw material, was forced to increase the capacity of its alkali cellulose aging machines by a factor of three. This had to be accomplished in a short time frame, in their existing building without interfering with production. The supplier of these machines could not supply them within six months of the required due date, and machines available would not fit in the allowed space. PICOR's principles designed totally original aging machines to the exact specifications required, installed the machines and placed them in service for about 30% of the cost of the competing machines. The machines were placed in service ahead of schedule.
A major coal supplier wanted to replace the existing volumetric rail car loading systems under their silos with precision loading systems. Other firms had told them it was impossible to install such a system. PICOR's principles designed and installed precision loading systems under the silos that met the customer's performance requirements. The cost of the installed systems was about half the alternate cost of two stand-alone precision loading systems as proposed by the competition.
If you need to install a batching system in an existing structure, PICOR may have your solution.
