PICOR Diverter gates are used extensively in the bulk material processing industry to
direct the flow of material to various processing circuits, regulate the amount of flow
to various circuits, and to isolate circuits for maintenance. They can be as basic as a
single to double diverter with a manual lever to change blade position from one side to
the other, or they can be fully automated devices capable of proportioning flow from one
or more sources to a large number of destinations.
The graphic to the left illustrates how our integral blade and shaft assemblies are
easily removed for replacement by utilizing a removable dust tight cover. Where possible,
we use wear resistant blades, rather than liners. With this design, replacement can be
done rapidly with little downtime.
All our designs are heavy duty and built to last. Depending on the application, our
gates can be constructed of any combination of mild steel, abrasion resistant steel, and
stainless steel. We also feature advanced liners such as chromium carbide plate and
special plastics. Actuation can be either manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric.
With so many options, call us so we can provide the best design for your specific
application.
