PICOR, an industry leader in bulk material handling and mineral processing, revealed its new company website, http://www.picor.biz this week. The new site was developed in order to provide support to existing customers and to raise awareness in new emerging market segments.
The site shows existing gates and chutes that have been built in addition to innovative precision and volumetric loading systems. Prospective clients can review product specifications, images and read about the success of PICOR products on work sites around the world. Case study examples reveal how PICOR products have helped companies more efficiently handle bulk materials and minerals of all types.
"Our new site enables us to meet the needs of a growing global market," said PICOR Marketing Manager Chuck Walton. "We want the world to know about our abilities and our innovative products with superior quality characteristics. Whether companies are searching for the latest technology available in bulk materials handling, blending and measurement or are looking for someone to custom design a system, our company is able to meet their needs."
Existing customers visiting the website will have the ability to log into a secure area and view work that is underway on specific job sites. Updates, notes, photos and comments will also be accessible.
"Our goal was to add value to our clients by creating a web site that enabled them to monitor progress on their jobs and read about updates. We have numerous international clients. Flow of information and communications can be a potential hurdle for customers because of time differences. Our site enables them to interact and communicate from anywhere in the world with web access," explained Walton.
PICOR’s new site can be viewed in either English or German. The company plans to add Ukrainian, Russian Spanish and Portuguese language options to the site in the future because of growing global demand.
Streaming video of the commissioning of PICOR’s Cordero project can also be downloaded and viewed. Detailed animation also demonstrates the patented Precision Loading Systems, PLS™ designed by PICOR. New and existing clients can even find corporate contacts business cards with email links on the new site.
"We are excited about the launch of the new site. We designed it with customer service on the forefront. We wanted our site to perform as well as our products and add value to our clients," said Walton.
